Do you enjoy your work, or do you wish you could do something else? Maybe you feel undervalued or stressed all the time. Perhaps you have an angry boss, or you feel your employees don’t take their work seriously enough. Whatever the situation, you can still find peace and meaning in the work you do.
In this message, Dr. Stanley explains five principles to get the most out of your job. He says it’s important that you:
- View yourself as a servant.
- View your work as for the Lord.
- View Christ as your authority.
- View your fellow workers as persons of worth.
- Realize your pay comes both now and hereafter.
There is no perfect workplace. Whether you love your job or can’t wait to find a way out, your hours spent punching the clock can be rewarding and a blessing to others. Keep the right attitude, and you will earn the praise of the One whose opinion truly matters.
