Satan is the prince of this world’s system. In every area of life—politics, religion, society, economics, education—he offers a counterfeit of God’s best. Although Satan cannot destroy our spirits, he seeks to make us unfruitful and unhealthy believers. Unfortunately, many Christians don’t even believe Satan really exists or that he is actively involved in the affairs of men.
This message will point out some of the evidence for Satan’s presence in our world and some of the most common ways he works. Whether it’s influencing us through the world’s system, planting ungodly thoughts in our minds, tempting us to experiment with occult practices such as fortune telling, or encouraging an unhealthy interest in him, Satan never stops searching for ways to influence us. Dr. Stanley gives practical advice on how to resist these strategies.
