Many people get caught up in the predestination vs. free will debate. This is unfortunate, because we will never fully understand what it means to be a chosen saint and must accept it by faith.
In this message, Dr. Stanley talks about how, as believers, we ought to be living out the truth of our position as chosen saints instead of arguing about it. Saved by the grace of God and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, we have the righteousness of Christ within us. This allows us to live holy and blameless, set apart from the world because our Savior is so different from it.
This doesn’t mean we will be perfect, but whenever we act in ways that are unholy, we’re behaving out of character. Learn to accept the blessings of your position by faith and focus on proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have yet to experience the joy of being one of His chosen saints.
