As In Touch With Dr. Charles Stanley viewers and listeners know, Dr. Stanley asked the congregation to join him in prayer at the end of every sermon. He prayed for his listeners, the church, the world, the lost, for struggling believers, growing disciples, and for himself. Just like all of us here at In Touch Ministries, many of you will recall his familiar voice opening with, “Father, how grateful we are,” as he led fellow believers in praising and thanking God and asking for His help.
The Charles F. Stanley Prayer Blanket is a special creation of In Touch Ministries. It presents, in readable type, some of Dr. Stanley’s recorded words of prayer from the pulpit at First Baptist Atlanta, the church from which he retired in 2020.
The blanket is a generously sized throw printed on one side with 10 separate prayers—on topics such as trusting God, trials, decisions, freedom from bondage, God’s truth, and witnessing. It includes a prayer for those who don’t yet know Christ and need words with which to profess their faith.
Also included is a beautifully designed insert featuring an original photograph taken by Dr. Stanley, an avid photographer, and a brief story of this blanket. The photograph can be trimmed and placed in an 8” x 10” frame.
